Have patience with yourself

Have patience with yourself, be the change you want to see in the world. I’ve had quite an issue with perfectionism in my life. I was expecting everything to be perfect all the time. The way I look, the clean house, the perfect music mix, the perfect meal… I even became sick for a few months because everything in my life was not the way I wanted it to be! What a destructive behavior! I’m in a long healing process where I’ve consciously decided to brainwash myself with this new motto: My path is love not perfection! Be good with yourself! Marcomé ♥

I don’t know about you but I can talk for myself and say that I’ve been quite conditioned to think in terms of limits. At a young age, I heard adults saying ‘you can’t do this’ ‘this is too hard..dangerous..impossible and so on… The older I get, the more I wonder if humanity isn’t strangely sick, conditioned to partially succeed. Why wouldn’t I allow myself to free up from those thoughts? those limiting beliefs? Observe yourself, become aware of those mental habits that do not evolve you. Give it a try and see how you feel… I wish you more love & awareness. Marcomé ♥

Over the years I got to understand that I didn’t understand!
Most of the t
ime, I was judging others through colored glasses and could not see behind my own perceptions. In other words, I learned about compassion. Putting myself in the other person’s shoes in order to better figure it out. I found that quote that says this in a much more poetic way.
Have a great day and be good to yourself,
Marcomé ♥
