What a great topic! twitter is a magical place indeed. I've made friends from all over the world! Great place to meet people and to build beautiful friendships. As a personal experience I can say I met my angel. I lost my mom to cancer two years ago. I was very sad and I tweeted "I miss my mom" I got a reply from a very nice lady,cheering me up Telling me that my mom was with me, and not to be sad. Her words comforted me. Since then we became friends. She always has the nicest words that make me feel better. We think we met for a reason.Here is what she tweet me once "I feel to watch over you and sooth you as a mother will do for her daughter" I will never forget this! She is so nice! I call her Mumsy :) Thanks to her I know my mom always will be there for me and she watches over me and she is loving me. I feel blessed that I met this compassionate and caring angel. Now we chat all the time on twitter or skype and write letters :) I trust her and I love her :) Twitter is a magical place!. Hi Marcome!

I met my publisher here, and on Friday I signed my book deal. But besides that, it has also given me real friends. In 60 days from today I'm going to travel to the US for six weeks to meet them, from Seattle to DC and Virginia, Portland ME and NYC. I had to refuse many invitations. Had I accepted them all I would have would up visiting about 60 people, and the only state untouched would have been Montana. Only last Friday, twitter has given me the change and chance of my life. I have made so many new and wondrous friends on Twitter. I am honestly amazed at the way that Twitter has allowed us all to become such a large part of each other's every day lives. I feel close to my friends in England, Scotland, Wales, Canada, Germany and America, despite living in Australia. In fact, if you want to know a great story, I met somebody on Twitter who lives 16,000km away, and through Twitter, other social networking sites, instant messenging, emails, real letters in the real post, Skype and some incredible phone calls, we've fallen for one another. Modern day fairy-tale? I love it. I love that I have found this connection. Twitter is a delight, and I don't regret a day of the two years I've spent on it. Bless. <3 Twitter is miraculous.
