Marcomé -Let me dance in the Moonlit Sky Tonight!
Ok, some of the vocals are ‘Enya-esque”. That is where the similarities end. Marcome takes the music to a new level with catchy rythms and dreamy melodies that I wish Enya would do more of at times. With Michel Dupire manning everything from ankle beads to rainsticks, the spot-on percussion is the perfect embellishment to Marcome’s beautiful keyboards and lovely voice.Another plus is the excellent fretless bass work of Marc Langis. The tracking order is excellent..once it grabs you with ‘Kiss of the Night’, the 3 instrumentals with voice that follow take you to another place. The vocals on “Time to Follow” and “Librarsi” are so well done and lead perfectly into the painfully beautiful “Parada” with Marcome’s coice soaring a simple Tam Tam drum beat and syth strings. After a few listens, I find that there is just not a bad tune on the whole CD.
Love it!

Marcomé Seven Seas
This is a wonderful ethereal journey of the senses, great for meditating, relaxing of reflecting. Although Enya is also a favorite of mine, I prefer Marcome’s soothing rhythms and soft lullaby type qualities to her singing.

A spiritual and healing music
What a totally lovely sound! Soothing and beautiful. Marcome has a way of doing rich melodies and her voice has a real powerful healing effect. I have been getting Reiki massage treatments with Nostrie Tiempo and since than, I love to meditate and relax with Marcome.

Soaring melodies
Anyone who enjoys the Celtic phenomenon led by the voices of Enya and Loreena Mckennitt, will surely fall under the spell of Marcome. The Canadian artist blends English lyrics with her unique wordless language singing from her unconcious. The voice is angelic and soaring, her melodies and instrumentation are enchanting.

BEAUTIFUL MUSIC OF THE CANADIAN ENYA
Imagine Enya mixed with slightly African beats and rhythms and you have Marcome, a French Canadian who has been calle the Canadian Enya. From the opening breath-taker “Breathe”, to the Pagan-like story of “Yeku”, the African-influenced “Librarsi”, this CD ranks as one of the best I’ve purchased in awhile. Marcome’s voice is beautiful and the CD is less Celtic and more ethnic than Enya’s. But this CD is beautiful nonetheless, and is worth hunting down

A symbiotic music
At last, I received the album Seven Seas of Marcome in Belgium, Europe. Now, the surprise is a fact. Of course, when you’re listening, you hear in the distance Enya but I find that the ‘timbre’ of her music is very different. Marcome uses a lots of instruments and so you hear always another beautiful song. The title song is the top but also ‘Librarsi’ and ‘Time to Follow’ are very good. Marcome has a very pure voice and it flews over in the instrumental notes… so her voice and the instruments become symbiotic…You have to listen to this music with little safety candlelights in every corner, a good glass of your best wine…and you shall have an experience you have never before…
A Belgium fan

A meditation for the troubled mind
Marcome is meditation for the troubled mind. Her voice heals and her melodies lay a sweet salve over hearts and souls challenged by the tumultuous here and now.
